Verify what arrived. Preserve who handled it.
CyphrAuth gives authorized teams a shared product record for identity, receiving, custody, inspection, sustainment, and exception review across multi-party supply chains.
Map a mission use caseTrust, but verify through CyphrAuth.
Potential application concept. No Department of War affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Check identity before acceptance
Confirm custody across organizations
Preserve exceptions for review
The mission problem
A label can travel farther than the evidence behind it.
Distributed suppliers, receiving teams, carriers, maintainers, and operators make different decisions about the same item. CyphrAuth is designed to keep those decisions attached to one product record.
01 · At receipt
Is this the item we expected, and is its product record in good standing?
Check the public Product ID and current status before acceptance, installation, or field use.
02 · At handoff
Who accepted custody, and did the expected handoff occur?
Record explicit custody decisions between suppliers, carriers, facilities, maintainers, and operational teams.
03 · At inspection
What did the receiving or maintenance team observe?
Retain label, package, condition, and inspection state without publishing internal notes in the public result.
04 · In sustainment
What changed during service, replacement, transfer, or return?
Carry accepted service, custody, and ownership events with the product record over time.
05 · During an exception
What should happen when the item, credential, or transfer is disputed?
Freeze, revoke, recover, or flag the record while preserving the prior history for review.
The operational record
Current status for the operator. Retained history for the reviewer.
The product view answers the immediate question. The audit view preserves accepted actions, custody changes, validation, and exceptions for later review.
Public status remains sanitized.
Restricted notes, private codes, and owner details stay out of the public scan result.

A controlled evaluation
Prove the decisions, not just the scan.
Begin with one product class, defined participants, and a bounded workflow. The evaluation should show where CyphrAuth adds useful evidence and where another system remains authoritative.
- 01
Can receiving teams distinguish a registered item from an unknown or revoked record?
- 02
Can custody move across organizations without being mistaken for ownership transfer?
- 03
Can authorized reviewers reconstruct accepted actions without exposing restricted notes publicly?
- 04
Can a disputed record be frozen and reviewed without erasing its earlier state?
A potential operational tool, not a compliance claim.
CyphrAuth does not currently claim Department of War endorsement, procurement approval, classified-environment readiness, CMMC compliance, FedRAMP authorization, or an Authority to Operate. Physical labels, inspections, hosting, and enterprise integrations must be evaluated for each deployment.
Bring one product class and one decision worth proving.
We will map the receiving, custody, inspection, exception, and review path a controlled evaluation would need to demonstrate.
Public context: the Department of War name is used as an authorized secondary title; statutory Department of Defense references remain controlling. This page describes potential CyphrAuth applications only.
